… anchored together with the boats of the ACC Terra de Outes and ready to participate in the “I Feira Náutica do Freixo”.
This week we have taken advantage of the fact that the sea was “putting us in” (sometimes too much, with that swing of the stern and little wind, stern too), to be able to reach the A Creba channel, where all help is little…
With the tide already receding, the next hurdle to overcome was the Misela sandbank where, as the north wind reached us, we had to get in to lengthen the boards, but from which we soon had to leave so as not to be stranded there. ..
We took advantage of the good wind to approach Broña (we arrived with the last board), where we turned and headed towards the Náutico, to enter helped by the current of the river.
And as good hosts, those from O Freixo sent their best ambassador, Manoliño (the estuary’s resident dolphin), who spent some time playing with us (although he didn’t want to give us a rope to help us come back…).
